Developed in collaboration with Mitchell Gold + Bob Williams and SCADpro, the Ella and Alba collections explore the future of the work-from-home workspace in response to the COVID-19 shift to remote life. Three furniture collections were developed to address the changing needs of remote work—balancing focus, comfort, and the realities of living in one shared space. The project translates shifting behavioral patterns into adaptable, human-centered work surface, seating, and storage solutions.
Two of the three collections launched commercially within 18 months, reflecting a close collaboration between student designers the well-established MG+BW team. The final designs offer flexible solutions that balance function and the comfort of home.
